Bollywood actress Veena Malik’s Kannada movie “Silk Sakkath Hot Maga” has hit cinema screens around India and is running successfully.
The film released across 140 screens in 50 theaters, including those that normally do not screen Kannada films, in Mangalore, Udupi, Hyderabad and Mysore.
Malik went to see the film during its first show on the first day of its release with co-star Akshay.
The actress said, “My co-star Akshay, the team of ‘Silk Sakkath Hot Maga’ and I just saw the film in Kapali theater. I was very excited to see such a big crowd for the film. We all liked the film a lot and I was quite overwhelmed to see so many fans.”
Malik plays the role of Vijaylakshmi in the film, while Akshay plays Shiva, a character with negative shades.
The story revolves around a girl who enters the film industry due to family problems but is forced to face other issues once she becomes a star. How she overcomes her problems forms the crux of the story.
